スマホの「Play ストア」アプリを開き、右上の丸いアイコンをタップして、いま使っている Google アカウント(メールアドレス)を確認してください。以降の 3 ステップはすべてこのアカウントで行うのがいちばん大事なポイントです。途中でアカウントが変わると参加が完了しません。
Open the Play Store app, tap the round profile icon at the top right and note which Google account it uses. Do every step below with that same account — switching accounts midway is the most common reason things fail.
groups.google.com/g/engine-sim-test を開いて「グループに参加」を押します。ログイン画面が出たら、さきほど確認したアカウントでログインしてください。
Open the link above and press “Join group”, signing in with the account you noted.
play.google.com/apps/testing/com.tdynamics.enginesim を開いて「テスターになる / Become a tester」を押します。「You are a tester.」と表示されたら登録完了です。

同じページの「download it on Google Play」を押すと Play ストアが開くので、「インストール」を押します。
ここで「アイテムは見つかりませんでした。」というエラー画面(人工衛星のイラスト)が出ることがよくあります。故障ではありません。テスター登録がストアに反映されるまで時間がかかるだけなので、15 分ほど待ってから「再試行」(または ② のページを開き直してもう一度このリンク)を押せばインストールできます。
On the same page, tap “download it on Google Play”, then press Install in the Play Store. If you see an “Item not found” error screen (the satellite illustration), that is normal — your registration just has not reached the store yet. Wait about 15 minutes and press Retry.
